001 - video

[Gou comes on screen, and her Plusle's hanging out on her shoulder. Looks like he's catching a nap.]

Hey, what level should these guys be before trying to take on a gym? There's one in Violet, right? We're -- uh, Makoto-senpai and me -- are heading that way, and it seems like it'd be really fun to do!

[She glances over at the Plusle, still napping.]

Oh, and what kind of nickname would you give a Pidgey? She's in her pokeball right now, but I can't seem to think of anything good right now. There's a lotta pressure, I mean, I'm gonna be calling it that every battle from now on...

I mean, I guess they could go without one, but... it seems a little easier to have nicknames, especially if I might end up with doubles or triples of the same type.

Uh, I think that's everything... [The red pikachu (yeah, she's still internally calling it that sometimes) shifts a bit, rubbing the electric pouhcy bit riiight across her shoulder-- meaning, shock time.] Ow! Jeez, watch it, Piccolo! [She binks him in the forehead.] That's for other pokemon, not me--

Exactly! And the only limit is how much free money you have to spend on them. But on that note I know they offer a free egg for first-time buyers, so you'll want to take advantage of that. Hold on just a moment, I'll get you their information.

[It only takes about half a minute for Twilight to get send her the info on the centre in the form of a text link.]

Assuming you know how to work the text function of the gear, that should be all you need to get started! Of course, raising a Pokemon from level one is a lot of work, but it can be really rewarding, especially with some of the species the Centre offers that are hard to get ahold of.

That's the spirit! And don't mention it, this is an important resource that everyone should learn about when they arrive. Really it's too bad we can't send out a welcome message with this sort of thing in it so everyone can find out right away.

I'm not sure, actually. I don't work there, so I don't have much knowledge about how they do things.

I think there should be an employee list in the link I gave you.

Oh, as for my name, you can call me Twilight.

Mat-su-oh-kah. Did I get that right?

[Human names can be so hard to pronounce sometimes. Why can't they have normal names like Lyra or Dewdrop or Octavia... actually that last one kind of underminds her point. Good thing she didn't voice it.]
