[Gou comes on screen, and her Plusle's hanging out on her shoulder. Looks like he's catching a nap.]

Hey, what level should these guys be before trying to take on a gym? There's one in Violet, right? We're -- uh, Makoto-senpai and me -- are heading that way, and it seems like it'd be really fun to do!

[She glances over at the Plusle, still napping.]

Oh, and what kind of nickname would you give a Pidgey? She's in her pokeball right now, but I can't seem to think of anything good right now. There's a lotta pressure, I mean, I'm gonna be calling it that every battle from now on...

I mean, I guess they could go without one, but... it seems a little easier to have nicknames, especially if I might end up with doubles or triples of the same type.

Uh, I think that's everything... [The red pikachu (yeah, she's still internally calling it that sometimes) shifts a bit, rubbing the electric pouhcy bit riiight across her shoulder-- meaning, shock time.] Ow! Jeez, watch it, Piccolo! [She binks him in the forehead.] That's for other pokemon, not me--

Oh hey, I'm going after the Violet Gym too soon!

I've sorta overleveled for it, but that's because I want to take them all out one right after the other.

Wow, you must've been training for awhile to get them that high.

I've been here for a few months, and I like training anyway. It helps keep me and the team fit. Passes the time too.

I've only been here a week or so, but training's been really, really fun so far! A little stressful, and it takes awhile to get results, but no pain, no gain!

Exactly! You gotta work for it!

I'm lucky, since so far a lot of my Pokemon don't seem to mind it either.

How many do you have?

Only around seven so far... and most of them are from my friend Maka, actually.

Ooh, so you can do trades here, too? Like, without gameboys?

Yeah, 'course. People can just send you an egg or a Pokemon and that's that.

Can you do that from far away, or do you have to meet up in person?

Either's fine. Some people send delivery Pokemon, but- have you used the PCs yet?

The ones in the pokemon center? Nope, not yet.

Well, people can send you Pokemon and eggs through them! That's where any of your Pokemon not on your current team rest, too.

Oooh. That sounds really handy. When I've got more pokemon than just two, I'm gonna have to give that a try!

It does it automatically, I think! It's really handy.

Huh. That makes sense. How fast can you catch seven pokemon, anyway?

Well it depends on if you're looking for variety or not, I guess. Like, you could probably just go out and catch seven Rattata if that was your thing.
